UV3110 UV-curable Extra-hard coating on Acrylic (Solventless)

1. Characteristics

* 100% solids, non-VOC, eco-friendly.

* Greatly enhance the surface hardness and abrasion resistance for PMMA、PMMA/ABS panel.

* Long-lasting optical clarity and superior weatherability.

2. Main composition and typical use

* UV 3100 is a proprietary formulation of UV-curable resin and acrylate monomer blend as coating sol.

* As an anti-scratch and anti-abrasion protective hardcoating on PMMA/Acrylic Sheet or acrylic-fabricated products.

3. Application Conditions

* Coating Process: roller coating; RH below 60%; working temp. @ 20±2℃; cleanliness @ class 1000.

* Dust and other foreign matter must be kept from the coating roller (cleanliness @ class 100); use the dust-removing roller before performing the coating job.

* Hardcoating sol preheating: up the sol temp. to 50-60℃ for lower viscosity and better leveling. 

* Coating Speed @ 6m/min for optimal coating leveling.

* Drying: infrared flash-off @ 80℃ for at least 5 min and then cures under UV light so as to achieve optimal coating leveling.

* UV radiation dose: 500-800 mj/cm2

* Coating liquid should be continuously recycled through filter (with 2 micron pore size or under).
